Wabtec sets out 2030 targets in sustainability report
Wabtec has published its latest sustainability report, providing details of the company’s plans for building a more sustainable future and their targets for progress over the next ten years.
The report takes an in-depth look at Wabtec’s commitment to sustainability and how they plan to achieve this through strengthening corporate governance, innovating with a purpose, driving responsible operations, and empowering people and communities.
This commitment is solidified by a number of specific targets for improving the company’s products, operations and culture by 2030, placing a continued focus on strengthening neighbouring communities.
This “30 by 30” strategy includes targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and water consumption in areas of water scarcity by 30% over the next ten years.
